The Towns of Kingston Springs and Pegram are getting into the holiday spirit by hosting several free community events throughout the month of December.
South Cheatham’s 1st Annual Outdoor Christmas Decor Contest
Are you ready to spread Christmas cheer throughout your neighborhood? This is your time to shine! Now through Dec. 13, you can enter South Cheatham’s 1st Annual Christmas Decor Contest sponsored by John Louallen. Complete the entry form here.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners and will be announced during Pegram’s Christmas in the Park event on Dec. 14.
South Cheatham County Public Library Christmas Tree Lighting and Cookies with Santa
The South Cheatham County Public Library will hold its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. The event – which officially kicks off the holiday season in Kingston Springs and Pegram – will be followed by cookies with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to noon. You must drop your cookies off for the contest on Friday, Dec. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
A Kingston Springs Christmas
A Kingston Springs Christmas is a special Christmas event planned at Burns Park in Kingston Springs on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. The park will be full of festive Christmas decorations, food trucks for yummy food, and live music for your holiday cheer. The event will feature the traditional lighted tractors on display as well as a visit from a very special someone straight from the North Pole. Don't miss this fun, family holiday event to celebrate Christmas in Kingston Springs!
Pegram’s Reindeer Mile
The Town of Pegram is hosting a one mile walk or run on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. at Pegram Park. Registration begins at 2:30 and is $15 per participant. All proceeds will go to Shop with a Cop. The first 100 participants will receive free reindeer antlers.
Pegram’s Annual Christmas in the Park
Following the Reindeer Mile, stick around for Pegram’s Annual Christmas in the Park on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. Visit with Santa and get free Christmas photos and bring ornaments to decorate Santa’s tree. There will be a cookie crawl; ugly Christmas sweater contest; train rides; live music; Pegram Elementary School art exhibits; fire pits; food trucks; vendors and more.
