A new community garden is sprouting up at Westview Baptist Church in Kingston Springs, offering not only fresh produce but a tangible way to connect with neighbors in need. The project, spearheaded by Pastor Joseph Glorioso and supported by the church’s congregation, is designed to provide hunger relief while fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.
This idea came about after Glorioso learned that some out-of-county church members were experiencing food insecurity. "I really felt compelled that we as a church needed to do something to ensure our members had the food they needed," Glorioso said. "As we started planning, we realized this could be bigger. It could be a way to engage with the community in a new way."
