Local businesses partner to present ‘Christmas on Main Street’

SKYKING PIZZA has partnered with local businesses to bring the community a week full of events leading up to Christmas. 

Every night Dec. 15 through Dec. 21, head to Christmas on Main Street in downtown Kingston Springs to spread holiday cheer and support locally owned businesses including Alma Yoga and Movement and The ARK Community Resource Center. 

Christmas on Main Street will kick off at SKYKING PIZZA on Sunday, Dec. 15 with a holiday market of more than 10 booths of local makers including Fred & Mary’s, Ewe & Company and Harpeth Moon Farm. 

From 1 to 6 p.m., shoppers will be able to enjoy live music, a full cocktail bar and hot chocolate and eggnog. 

On Monday, Dec. 16, Alma Yoga and Movement will host an energetic and heated flow to holiday music at 6 p.m. Studio members can attend for free, and non-members must pay the $25 drop-in fee. Stay after the 60 minute class to sip on Yuletide tea. 

Make your dinner plans on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at SKYKING PIZZA, when a percentage of all profits made that night will be donated to The ARK Community and Resource Center. SKYKING is open from 5 to 9 p.m. 

Trivia is back! This month, SKYKING will host holiday themed trivia on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Winners will get a free pizza. 

On Thursday, Dec. 19, get your nails holiday ready with Allie Nailed It and Gels By Gracie at Turnbull Provisions. From 6 to 9 p.m., you can add nail art to your existing design or customize Christmas press on nails. A full cocktail bar will be available. Note that there is no full nail service. 

On Friday, Dec. 20, SKYKING PIZZA will host its inaugural late-night karaoke from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Sing along to Christmas songs as you sip on your favorite holiday cocktails. Seating will be first come first serve, and there is a $15 spending minimum. Only drinks and snacks will be available, the pizza line and kitchen will be closed. 

Christmas on Main Street will conclude with a puzzle guzzle. On Saturday, Dec. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Turnbull Provisions, teams of four or less will compete against one other to complete a 100 piece puzzle. The winning team will get a $25 gift card.
