Kingston Springs Elementary School (KSES) Principal Andrea Bledsoe was tapped to serve as the new behavior coordinator for the Cheatham County School District (CCSD), according to an April 8 announcement.
Bledsoe has served as the lead at KSES since 2023, initially replacing long-time Principal Lucas Winstead. The district said it will begin the process to hire Bledsoe’s replacement at KSES for the 2025-2026 school year.
In her new role with CCSD, she will lead and support the implementation of school-wide behavioral interventions and systems, including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), to improve student behavior and create a positive learning environment. She will work hands-on with both teachers and students to address behavior in the academic learning environment.
“I am incredibly excited and honored to serve the district in my new role as Behavior Coordinator. I look forward to working collaboratively with our dedicated staff, students and families to support positive behavior, promote growth and foster a safe and respectful learning environment for all,” Bledsoe said.
Prior to joining KSES, Bledsoe served as an assistant principal and principal in Dickson County for six years.
She began her teaching career in 2008 at Pegram Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School – known only as Pegram Elementary School when she worked there – where she taught first and second grade for five years. She then transitioned to teaching third grade at KSES before becoming an academic specialist at Ashland City Elementary STEAM Academy – formerly Ashland City Elementary School.
Bledsoe is a Nashville native, and has lived in Pegram with her husband, Keith, for nearly two decades. Together they have four children, who all graduated from Harpeth High School.
