KS seeking vendors for city work, now accepting bids

The Town of Kingston Springs is now accepting bids for two-year contracts in electrical work; sewer system repair; septic tank pumping; and tree cutting services.


Sealed bids are due at 4 p.m. on March 8. Bid opening will take place on March 11 at 2 p.m. and bids will be awarded on March 21, during the Town of Kingston Springs City Commission meeting at 7 p.m.


The contract terms of service are April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2026.


The Town of Kingston Springs is seeking a vendor to make general electrical repair, emergency electrical repair, and electrical maintenance or installation on town owned properties. The electrical bid package is available here.


Kingston Springs is also seeking a vendor to perform services on both residential and commercial septic tanks within the town’s sanitary sewer system. The septic tank pumping bid package is available here


The town also seeks a vendor to perform repair of sewer pumps and pump stations services to the town’s sanitary sewer system. Bidding is for a ‘one man’ per hour format, and should include all costs with the exception of prior approved parts and additional labor. The sewer system repair bid package is available here


Finally, KS is seeking a vendor for general and emergency tree cutting and related services primarily dealing with downed trees and storm debris, or removal of trees that may cause safety concerns. This service will be an addition to the general tree cutting and trimming the town’s Public Works Department will continue to do. The tree cutting services bid package is available here
