HHS, HMS dominate Special Olympics winter games

South Cheatham County has long been home to a loving and ever growing Special Olympics community. 


Special Olympics is the largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities in the world. It is meant to enrich and support the lives of disabled people in the community through the connective power of sports. 


Special Olympics Tennessee put on their annual Winter Olympic games in Gatlinburg last week – an event Harpeth High School (HHS) has been sending athletes to for many years.
