Gratitude abounds across South Cheatham this Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approaches, residents of Kingston Springs and Pegram reflected on the many things they’re grateful for in their tight-knit communities. From the support of neighbors to the beauty of nature and local businesses, there’s no shortage of things to celebrate across South Cheatham.

In Kingston Springs, the theme of community support is a consistent thread. "I am thankful for my neighbors. They’ve been so good to me and helped me through a really rough time last year," one resident shared, capturing the heart of what makes this town special. Many expressed appreciation for the way the town pulls together during tough times, like the aftermath of the 2010 flood or the 2021 Christmas tornadoes. "When things like the flood of 2010 happened, or the tornados, that's when the people of this town show up to help each other," said another.
