Cheatham County seeks poll workers for 2024 elections

The Cheatham County Election Commission is in need of election workers for the three elections this year – on March 5, Aug, 1, and Nov. 5 – as well as for their respective early voting windows.

Election poll workers work at Pegram City Hall during early voting, and on election day, they work at Pegram City Hall and Harpeth High School.

Poll workers will receive compensation for attending a training session and for working. They must be 16 years of age, and be a resident of Cheatham County.

If you are interested, you can contact the Cheatham County Election Commission at (615) 792-5770 or email the Administrator of Elections, Pam Frejosky, at pam.frejosky@cheathamcountytn.gov

Voters should be proud that Tennessee is ranked number one in the nation for election integrity by the Heritage Foundation, and that the Secretary of State’s office is also Tennessee’s trusted source for all election information – including the GoVoteTN app.

For more information on South Cheatham County’s upcoming 2024 election cycle, check out the Gazette’s breakdown here, or go to GoVoteTN.gov.
