The Ark-sponsored South Cheatham School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, July 20 was a community triumph with 255 K-12 students each receiving a free new backpack filled with classroom essentials, Ark Director Mike Turpin reported.
Held at Kingston Springs Elementary School, the event drew a sizable crowd of parents and their children well before the doors officially opened at 11 a.m. The event ended at 1 p.m.
