Friends of Harpeth River State Park – FHRSP is a local nonprofit friends group dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing our Harpeth River State Park.

Saving Cheatham Animals Mission Pawsible (SCAMP)/Cheatham County Animal Control – Of course, we can’t forget about the animals this holiday season. If you’re looking to give a dog or cat this season, look no further than our local no-kill shelter. Just interested in giving back to the community? Consider volunteering and filling the shelter’s current more pressing need: dog-walking. They are open to volunteers daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On holidays, volunteers can come walk dogs from 10 a.m. to noon.
